Mauldin completes basic training
Army Pvt. Joshua L. Mauldin has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Okla.
During basic training, Mauldin studied the Army mission, physical fitness, combat skills, military weapons and chemical warfare. Other training included rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, field tactics, basic first aid and field exercises. Mauldin also completed Military Police training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He is now serving with the 189th MP Company.
Mauldin is the son of Patrick and Christine Mauldin of Carson City. He is a 2004 graduate of Carson High School.
