Sheriff’s Log: Woman arrested for allegedly filing a false police report

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

WEDNESDAY

• 6 p.m.: A 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 2000 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of filing a false police report. Bail was set at $500.

• 7:45 a.m.: A 39-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1800 block of Fairview Drive on a contempt-of-court warrant out of Dayton Township. Bail was set at $207.

• 10:56 p.m.: A 20-year-old Reno man was arrested at Woodside and Stanton drives on suspicion of speeding, driving with a revoked license because of a DUI and criminal contempt. Bail was set at $1,545.

• 7:43 p.m.: A 27-year-old transient was arrested at Anderson and Washington streets on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a hypodermic device and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,500. Also arrested was a 33-year-old transient, on suspicion of intoxicated pedestrian (blood-alcohol level of 0.310) and open liquor container. Bail was set at $67.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
