Since April, 30 local Port of Subs restaurants have been collecting change for C*A*R*E* Chest of Sierra Nevada via the chain’s Change for Charity Program.
All funds collected through June 30 stay in the community and help C*A*R*E* Chest provide free medical supplies, emergency prescriptions, diabetic items, liquid nutritional support and much more for local children and adults who are facing health challenges.
Port of Subs patrons can easily donate using containers placed near the register at participating restaurants. The containers will be gathered in July, and the total from all 30 restaurants will then be presented to C*A*R*E* Chest.
C*A*R*E* Chest of Sierra Nevada has been serving Northern Nevadans in need for more than 20 years. C*A*R*E* Chest’s free, ongoing programs help those locals who have nowhere else to turn for the supplies and equipment they desperately need to maintain their health.
