At least four shots were fired Saturday night at Fairview and Desatoya drives and after a rock was thrown through a car window around 10:30 p.m.
“It was some sort of dispute,” Sheriff Ken Furlong said. “Somebody threw a rock threw a guy’s (car) window. As he fled, he shot off four rounds. One hit the mortuary on Fairview.”
No arrests have yet been made the office is still investigating the incident, he said. No one was hurt.
Although the event is not believed to be directly gang related, the gang unit is following up on the case, he said.
“They appeared to be shooting at the person” as they fled the scene, he said.
