December 12, 1939 - October 3, 2013

Clara went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013.

Clara was born in Fallon to Ernest and Georgia Leavitt on December 12, 1939.

She was the fourth of five children. She spent all of her childhood in and around the Fallon area. She graduated from CCHS in 1957. She met the love of her life, Larry Turner, and married him on May 10th, 1958 in Fallon. Their married life started here and after 14 years of moving, they settled in Fallon in 1973.

Clara was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Leavitt, her mother, Georgia Leavitt and her sister, Edna Barrenchea.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry Turner; her children, Trudy (Jack) Veach, Kelly (Mark) Beadle and Ron (Kim) Turner; and by her pride and joy- grandchildren, Katie (Casey) Doolin, Robert Beadle, Monika Veach and Jack Veach Jr. and Brynn Turner and her great-grandchildren, Cariss, Clara, Cailyn and Cade Doolin and Aeden Veach; her brothers, George and Pete Leavitt ; sister, Betty Copenhaver; numerous nieces and nephews.

Clara enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed doing artwork of all kinds, gardening, rock hunting and being outside. She loved to fly with her husband, a pilot. She loved cocker spaniels and English bulldogs and was always happiest with a dog on her lap.

Clara loved classic cars and airplanes. She was very active in her job at Northside Elementary School Cafeteria.

We have lost the heart of our family, but her love will sustain us.
