Harold Richard Duarte, age 89, of Tucson AZ, formerly of Alpine County and Santa Clara County. Born in Centerville, CA. He served on the Alpine Board of Supervisors for 10 years and many California and Nevada Commissions.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Duarte Allasia, Scottsdale AZ; son, Dennis Duarte, Redwood City CA; grandsons, Brandon Duarte of Fayetteville NC; Todd Balcon of Carson City NV; Dominic Duarte, Atherton CA; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jo Bertaccini (Ed) of San Jose; brother-in-law Tony Pisturino (Sofie) of LaGrange; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held October 20, 2013, at 1:00pm at Walton Chapel of the Valley, 1281 No. Roop St, Carson City, NV (775) 882-4965. A reception will follow.
