Carrie was born in Whittier, California. She most recently lived in Carson City, Nevada since 1988. She went to school in Indio, California. She loved to cook, try out new recipes on the family. All food gave her joy to make, especially things her mother loved to eat....
She was the primary caregiver for her parents, James & Joyce Dalbey. They were happy doing a lot of stuff together, whether shopping at Costco or visiting Fandango. She loved to travel, Cruises were her favorite. She and her mother, especially loved to go on the Alaskan cruises. She enjoyed seeing the world and the many new adventures it offered. She leaves behind her parents, Jim & Joyce Dalbey; her two brothers, Kim (Susan) Dalbey and Glen (Anna) Dalbey which she adored. They were her older, bigger brothers! Two nephews, four nieces and is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Forrest and Dessie Dalbey and her maternal grandparents, Grace Wells and George Galloway.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in memory of Carrie Dalbey to Nevada Humane Society. Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home 3945 Fairview Dr. Carson City.
