In loving memory of an amazing husband, great-grandfather, grandfather, father, son, brother and friend.

John passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at the Eagle’s Hall on the Reno Highway, Sunday, Nov. 10th from 2pm to 5pm.

John proudly served in the US Marine Corp, went on to work for Donaldson Concrete in Antioch, CA. and was the owner/operator of Boyce’s Billiards. Over the years he coached High School football at Rio Vista High School in Rio Vista, CA. and Churchill County High School in Fallon, NV. Served as President of the Fallon Pool Association and President of TopGun Raceway. Throughout his life he loved playing pool, drag racing, boating and most of all spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife, Cindy; father, Francis and mother, Joyce of Yuma, AZ.; brother, Mike (Irish); sister, Laura (Vern); sons, Larry (Tami) and Donny (Jenny); step son, Steve (Crystal) and step daughter, Tami; great-grandchild, Syress; grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Luke, Sydney, Renee, Dakota, Amber, Jacob, Ivy, Annecia, Nickolas, Blane and Leo. John is preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence who lost his life in Viet Nam.
