Author to discuss book about consequences

Author Susan M. Schneider will discuss her book “The Science of Consequences: How They Affect Genes, Change the Brain, and Impact Our World,” at 6 p.m. Monday at the Business Resource Innovation Center, 108 E. Proctor St.

Schneider has been a visiting scholar at the University of the Pacific, a professor at St. Olaf College, Auburn University and Florida International University, and a visiting research fellow at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, a news release states.
