The annual celebrity charity Cowboy Fast Draw Shoot benefiting the Mayor’s Youth Fund is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Churchill County Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena.
The event, which is in conjuction with the World Championship of Cowboy Fast Draw, is hosted Fernley’s Cal Eilrich and costs $20.
The shoot pits notable local personalities in quick-draw shoot with wax bullets. Coaches are provided for each celebrity. An electronic timer starts each shoot and the first shooter to draw, fire and hit the target in a best-of-5 advances.
