Benjamin George Whalen of Carson City graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan.

He earned a bachelor of general studies degree with an emphasis in information networking and telecommunications.

Lindsay Burroughs of Carson City was named to the honor roll for the summer term at Oregon State University.

Burroughs is a junior majoring in music.
