City National Bank provides backpacks

Fremont Elmentary School in Carson City and C.C. Meneley Elementary in Gardnerville were the recipients of some of nearly 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies as part of City National Bank’s annual back-to-school drive.

The school supplies collected included erasers, highlighters, round-tip scissors, packs of wide ruled paper, colored pencils, folders, notebooks, pencil sharpeners, rulers, boxes of crayons, glue sticks, No. 2 pencils and three-ring binders. In addition to these supplies, bank colleagues donated countless hours of their time packaging and delivering these supplies to the various schools receiving them.
