REASON FOR THE SEASON

The reason for the season and all seasons: Christ came to give us peace, that war would ever cease, to bring the earth release, to make our joy increase.
He was crucified. For our sins he died. Yet he is denied, rejected, and defied. It’s sad that we can’t see the man of Galilee, who won the victory to give us liberty. If we would take his hand and let him lead our land, in confidence we’d stand on the rock, instead of sand.
He is coming back again to try the hearts of men. What will we answer then, if we deny our truest friend? Truth is the most important word in any language. Truth is the core of integrity and liberty. Lies are a nickel a dozen. Truth can be very costly, but worth any price! Truth is the price of freedom. Don’t let anyone do your thinking for you!
