Obituary Robert H Townsend

August 13, 1948 - January, 2014

Bob passed away at home on January 28. He was proceded in death by his father Harold Townsend. Bob is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Leslie, his buddy Scrawny, mother Betty, sister Judy Casper (David), son Derrik Kennedy (Tiffany), daughter Holly Wright-Mendoza (Shawn), grandchildren Mason, Morgan, Amaya, Kaylee, Amaliah, and many other family and friends. Bob served in the National Guard from 1967-1973 and owned “Quality Turf Management”. Bob was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He was a member of “Clear Creek Bowman”, served on the “Tom Brooks Memorial Committee”, and several other organizations. He enjoyed spending time at the Timbers Saloon and the Old Globe with his friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to “The Jeremy Williams Memorial Scholarship” at Western Nevada College - Gone Fishing.
