The 48th Annual Fallon All Breeds Bull Sale begins in one week.

The sale will be held Feb. 15 at the Fallon Livestock Exchange beginning at 11:30 a.m. Sifting of the bulls with be Feb. 14 at 7:30 a.m.

For the past 47 years, producers from Nevada and surrounding states have worked to bring the best quality range ready bulls and participate in the sale. Bulls range from yearlings to 2-year olds of different breeds are bought and sold at the annual sale. Last year’s sale was one of the best in the state and with more than 150 bulls consigned this year, and organizers are expecting another great sale. Consignments for this year’s sale features quality Balancer, Angus, Hereford and Limousin breeds.

One week from today will feature the Fallon All Breeds Bull Sale Invitational Stock Dog Trial at the Fallon Livestock Exchange beginning at 7:30 a.m. All are welcome that evening to enjoy the Fallon Bull Sale Dinner and Dance hosted by the Churchill County Cowbelles at the Fallon Convention Center. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and dancing to follow. Immediately following dinner will be a Stock Dog Auction of three dogs show earlier in the day. All proceeds from the Stock Dog Trial are donated to benefit the fight against cancer.

This year’s sale sponsors and donors include Pinenut Livestock Supply, Fallon Convention Center and Visitors Authority, and the Churchill FFA.
