LouZetta “Lou” Mae Mierau, 82, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend was called home by her Lord December 28,2013. Born February 19, 1931 in California, the eldest of three sisters. She grew up in Pomona and moved to Carson/Minden area in 1974. She worked for Douglas Co School District as a food service manager for 20 years until retiring in 1995.She loved photography and was an avid baseball and tennis fan. She was a member of Lifepoint Church. LouZetta touched many lives with her kindness, strength and faith.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Ardie Camillo of Carson City, son and daughter-in-law Randy and Chanin Mierau of Reno; son, Stephen Renek of Reno; her grandchildren, Jason, Tracy, Brandon, Courtney, Sarah, Ian and Shayne; and her sister Dana Rook of Lancaster, PA. We will miss you dearly but are comforted by the knowledge that you will be watching over us on all of those times when you are needed the most. There will be a Memorial service for LouZetta Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:00am at the Lifepoint Church at 1095 Stephanie Ln. Minden, NV. They can be reached at 775-267-0151.
