American Idol Bus Tour rolls into downtown Reno

The American Idol Bus Tour is scheduled to visit Reno at 30 N. Virginia St. on Saturday, July 12. Auditions will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at City Plaza. Cheerleaders from the University of Nevada, Reno and Damonte Ranch High School will welcome the bus to City Plaza at approximately 8 a.m. Members of the community are encouraged to come out and support the participants. Only persons 15 to 28 years old are eligible to audition. No children younger than 5 are allowed at the event.
