Eva James of Carson City died July 13, 2014. Eva was born Dec. 24,1937 in Dresslerville, Nevada, she was 76. She attended Stewart Indian School and Bacone Indian College. She loved reading, playing cards and watching western movies. She loved all of her children, grand children, and her nieces and nephews. Eva always took a few moments to ask about the family to see what everyone was up to. She always showed an avid interest in everyone in her family. Eva is survived by Jacqueline (Kent) Steele, Franklin James Jr., Kevin Reed, Jason Curtis, Alida Thompson, Marie Thompson. She has 11 grand-children, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 5-brothers, 2-sisters, and her daughter Arlene James. The services will be held July 18,2014 at the Stewart Baptist Church at 11:00am, the dinner will follow at the Stewart Community building.
