Nevada, then and now

Local members of the Carson Valley Quilt Guild created quilted wall hangings that celebrate Nevada’s sesquicentennial. Each represent the theme of “Nevada, then and now — 150 years of Statehood.”

Shown from the left are Summer Bell, branch manager, and the three Dayton quilters, Diane Kyllingstad, Sheri Smith and Janet Lockett.

The hangings are displayed until July 26 at Lyon County Library System’s Dayton branch. They can also be viewed on Dayton Library’s Facebook page.
