Constance Alexander

Constance Alexander, 70, passed away Saturday evening February 15 at Carson Tahoe Hospital.

Originally born Constance Joan Long, she is survived by her father Ledo Buonamici, her four daughters, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her former husband, Robert K. Alexander. She is predeceased by her mother, Millicent Ruth Buonamici, and her brother, William D. Long (Billy). Constance was a Navy veteran serving as a nurse. She held a degree in criminal justice from Western Nevada College. She pursued linguistics and theology studies in Utah. Constance was a dedicated Roman Catholic, a lifelong prayer intercessor and an advocate on behalf of victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. She loved poetry, books, art and animals. She loved being in nature. She will be missed.
