Pre-Algebra boot camp, CMSV 218F Call #142210

Prepare for the Accuplacer test. Students will be introduced to the language and concepts of algebra. This is an adult class that will allow students age 15 and up. March 25–May 8, Tuesdays 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and

Thursdays 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Cost: $86.

Square Foot Gardening, CMSV 211F Call #142201

Grow 100 percent of the crop in only 20 percent of the space of a conventional row garden. Learn about mixing soil, plant and seed choices, and how to grow your own starts. Nancy and Ken Clarke are certified instructors through the Square Foot Gardening Foundation. April 12, 26, May 3, Saturday, 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Cost $51.

Wilderness First Aid Basics, CMSV 214F Call #142205

This course meets the requirements of many organizations. Course includes two-year certificate upon successful completion. This is an adult class that is also open to students aged 14-17.

May 30 and 31, Friday & Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., $101.

Babysitting Certification, CFK 2000F Call #146201

Your child can learn to be a professional, responsible babysitter through this American Red Cross class, includes a handbook, card and certificate. For ages 11 and up. Please remember to bring a lunch to class. April 26, Saturday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. $72.

Workforce Development

WNC Fallon offers various workshops to help students and professionals gain knowledge about computer software and programs, and obtain valuable skills for career advancement. The workshops are provided locally at WNC’s Fallon campus and provide the opportunity to update computer and employment skills in a quick and effective format.
