A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held today at 7 p.m. at the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St.

Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:

For Possible Action: The board will discuss and take action to approve the fiscal year 2014-15 final budget, including taking action to revise, add, or delete any line item in the proposed budget.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of revisions to regulation 5135.2 — student discipline. For Review Only: Delete regulation 4139.1, title IX of the educational amendments of 1972. 2. For Review Only: Delete policy/regulation 7450 — nondiscrimination on the basis of disability.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of rewrite of policy 4141 — equal employment opportunity.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of new policy 5411 — equal educational opportunity.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval to delete current policy 5410.1 — Title IX of the educational amendments 1972.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of changes to policy 5136.1 — safe and drug free schools and community’s violence prevention and substance abuse policy.

For Review Only: review of revisions to regulation 5136.1 — safe and drug free schools and communities violence prevention and substance abuse policy.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of new policy 6106 — instruction in the human reproductive system, related communicable diseases, sexual responsibility, and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of revisions to policy 3230 — fund balance.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of revisions of policy 3350 — system of accounts.

For Possible Action: First reading — approval of revisions to policy 3420 — annual audit.

For Possible Action: Approval of updated capital improvement plan.

For Discussion Only: Discussion regarding the charter school’s impact on the school district (BMAR-25).

For Possible Action: Selection of appraiser by the board of trustees for the student-built house located at 462 Discovery Drive per NRS 393.240.
