The Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary will raffle a sesquicentennial pendant worth $550 in celebration of Nevada’s 150th birthday.

The turquoise pendant in the shape of the state is bordered by druzy quartz on two sides, signifying the Sierras. The Nevada-mined silver half-bezel and chain is designed and donated to the Auxiliary by Tobin Rupert, owner of Rupert’s Precision Gemcutting.

Raffle tickets cost $5 each or $20 for five. The drawing will be on Oct. 31 at the Auxiliary’s gift shop in the Carson Tahoe Hospital lobby. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.

To buy raffle tickets, go to the Auxiliary’s gift shop in the hospital lobby, or call 775-445-5142 or Gloria Seaton at 775-882-8162 or Tamar Warren at 775-461-0311.
