Participants of Carson Capitals’ Grand Slam Run on Sunday at Empire Ranch Golf Course are invited to sport jerseys and hats of their favorite teams as they run 5K and 10K distances.
Registration for the 10K will be from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m., with the race following at 8:30 a.m. Registration for the 5K will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., with the race following at 8:45 a.m.
Awards are given for the top three overall male, female and youth runners.
Registration costs $30 for adults until the day of the event, when the price goes up to $35. Registration for children ages 5-13 costs $15. The fees include a water bottle and buffet breakfast. Breakfast tickets for non-runners are available at the event for $10 each.
