Carson City Computer Corps recycling electronics to mark Earth Day

Carson City’s nonprofit Computer Corps will be on hand to recycle electronic and office equipment, such as printers and stereos, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Reno High School, 395 Booth St. in Reno.

The event is part of Reno Earth Day. Most electronics will be acceptable to bring, but televisions will not be accepted.

Anyone who is unable to attend the Earth Day event can bring their electronics to Carson City’s Computer Corps, 550 Mallory Way, Suite 175, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

To make a donation of working or non-working computers, printers, copiers, electronic equipment, cable wiring, speakers, and other electronics or for information about volunteer opportunities and educational programs, stop by Computer Corps. Tax receipts are given for all donations.
