Michael Eugene Beck

Michael (Mike) Eugene Beck passed away on December 30, 2014 at the age of 57. Mike loved rodeos, and in his younger days, rode bulls, bareback, team roped and was even a rodeo clown. Mike also loved to work in the yard. He

will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Michael was born January 29, 1957 in Sacramento, CA. Michael worked in Casino management for over thirty years. Michael’s management positions took him and his family to many places throughout the country (Louisiana, South Dakota, Michigan and others), but returned to Nevada in 2004 finishing his career at the Gold Ranch casino in Dayton. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Charles Beck and a younger brother, Robert (Sam) Beck. Survivors include son Jason Beck and daughter-in-law Cassandra Stokes (Yerington); son Brandon Beck (Carson City); daughter Breanna Beck and son-in-law Jason Bigman (Phoenix, AZ), two grandchildren; Cash and Presley Bigman, (Phoenix), three step-grandchildren Maddix, Victoria, and Destini (Yerington); a sister and brother-in law, Steve and Debbie Honey (Carson City); two nieces, one nephew, and great nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 11 a.m. at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. The location of the gathering after will be announced at the service.
