The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about Saurem August-Perez, who ran away from her home on Thursday.
August-Perez, 15, is described as 5-feet 4-inches with brown eyes and black hair.
Det. Sal Acosta said August-Perez could possibly be with her boyfriend, 18-year-old Abraham Cortez. Cortez is on juvenile probation for drug trafficking.
Acosta said information provided is Cortez may have had $50,000 stashed in Carson City. It’s believed Cortez and August-Perez could be in route to Mexico, California or Tennessee.
