Friends of the Carson City Library’s Christmas in July food drive is collecting non-perishable food through July 25 for the Ron Wood Family Resource Center.
Foods needed include: canned tuna and meat, peanut butter, canned vegetables, beans and fruit, pasta and sauces.
To help, bring donations to Browser’s Corner, 711 E. Washington St., from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone who donates can choose two free Christmas books or CDs and receive a coupon for $1 off a purchase of a book in the store.
