The Young Entrepreneurs Collective in collaboration with the Fallon Co-Working Space continues its free six-class business education series tonight at the Old Post Office.

The third session begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Fallon Co-Working Space hosts design expert Thaison Kawal of The Abbi Agency as he provides insight on the basics of design in the class, Design 101 for Businesses.

“Understanding design basics vastly improves a business owner’s ability to communicate with a targeted audience,” Kawal said. “With the proper knowledge, entrepreneurs can create flyers or advertisements that send a clear message in an aesthetically pleasing manner.”

The remaining two scheduled classes in the series teach entrepreneurs how to write a press release to obtain media coverage and take advantage of networking opportunities.

Upon completion of all six classes, participants receive a certificate of completion valued at $700. Business owners are also invited to use the amenities provided by the Co-Working Space for a complimentary six months. The Co-Working Space provides computers, working desks, printers, an entrepreneurial library and networking opportunities. The classes and amenities provide business owners with the necessary resources to grow and improve.

To sign up for the three remaining classes, email the CityofFallon@gmail.com. Learn more about the Fallon Co-Working Space or sign up by contacting Valerie Lightfoot at the city at Val@ci.fallon.nv.us or call 775-423-3040.
