St. Paul hosting Vacation Bible School July 27-31
St. Paul Lutheran Family Church’s western-themed Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. July 27-31 offers stories, crafts, songs and snacks.

Eckankar worship service set for today at Community Center
“HU, The Most Beautiful Prayer” is the topic of a worship service sponsored by Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God, at 10 a.m. today at the Carson City Community Center.
The free one-hour service offers a talk by a facilitator, followed by readings, small-group discussions and a short contemplation.
