Churchill County Commissioners meet Thursday

The first County Commission meeting of June will be conducted today at 8:15 a.m. at the Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.

Among the items commissioners will discuss and that are up for possible action include the following:

Consideration and possible action regarding recognition of Road Department personnel for their assistance with the Lewis Spill Project.

Consideration and possible action regarding update presentation by the Fallon Youth Club.

Consideration and possible action regarding Denver Nygren and Amy Nygren for an application for a sending site and transfer of development rights calculation for property located at 6400 Stillwater Road, APN: 007-572-12.

Consideration and possible action regarding Denver Nygren for an application for a sending site and transfer of development rights calculation for property located at 1275 Perazzo Lane, APN: 007-551-13.

Consideration and possible action regarding Scott Nygren for an application for a sending site and transfer of development rights calculation for five parcels with properties located at: 1600 Perazzo Lane, APN: 009-091-0 1; on Mission Road, APN: 009-091-03; at 6800 Mission Road, APN: 009-091-11; at 6750 Stillwater Road, APN: 009-101-01; and at 6750 Stillwater Road, APN: 009-10 1-07.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of school bus lease renewal between the Churchill County School District and Churchill County for the SUMFUN program.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of Emergency Solutions Grants for fiscal year 2016.

Consideration and possible action regarding authorization for Social Services to hire an office intern.

Consideration and possible action regarding Duncan Golf Management update on the Fallon Golf Course operations.

Consideration and possible action regrading Churchill County Library update on the Fallon Downtown Merchants Association Farmers Market and the Bessie Minor Swift Foundation Grant.

Consideration and possible action regarding update on pontifex classification and compensation study finalization and proposed implementation.

Consideration and possible action regarding apportionment of greater than anticipated consolidated tax distribution for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.

Consideration and possible action regarding apportionment of geothermal rents and royalties for fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.

Consideration and possible action regarding budget transfer no. 1 for fiscal year 2015-2016.

Consideration and possible action regarding fiscal year ending June 30, 2015 monetary transfers.
