Carson City’s Rockin’ Rev Ken Haskins hosting Fourth of July radio program

Turn on and tune in to “Reminiscing With The Rockin’ Rev” on AM 1180 KCKQ or www.americamatters.us from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday for the Rockin’ Rev’s star-filled 4th of July extravaganza.

The Rockin’ Rev, Ken Haskins, will feature the music of Philadelphia’s finest recording artists, many of which recorded for Philadelphia’s Cameo-Parkway label. Featured artists include: Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, Dee Dee Sharp, the Dovels, Charlie Gracie, the Orlons, the Tymes, Billy Abbott and the Jewels, Patti Labelle, Bob Seger, the Kinks and Clint Eastwood.

The Rockin’ Rev will interview Stephen Caldwell of the Orlons at 2:30 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. the Rev will interview Joe Terry of Danny and the Juniors whose hits include “At the Hop” and “Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay.” At 5:30 p.m. the Rockin’ Rev will interview Al Berry of the Tymes.
