Carson City’s sixth annual Historic preservation scavenger Hunt, which began Friday, runs through May 27.

The event, held in celebration of Historic Preservation Month, includes 30 architectural features to be found by adults in the historic district and 20 for kids in a smaller area. More information on details of how to participate are available from the city Planning Division at 108 E. Proctor St., which also is where entries must be submitted.

The division telephone number is (775) 887-2180. Entry forms may also be downloaded from the city’s website at www.carson.org. Entries, which must be in by 4 p.m. on May 27, bearing all correct answers will be entered into a drawing to be held on May 29. Adults will compete for a free lunch for two at Cafe at Adele’s; kids compete for a gift certificate to Brugo’s pizza. Winners will be announced on May 29.
