Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and contributing to the delinquency of minors

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 4:00 a.m., Robert Hudson, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies were informed that an inmate had brought drugs into the jail. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 10:20 a.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and child endangerment and at the same incident a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of abuse or neglect of a child after deputies responded to reports of a possibly intoxicated driver with a child in the backseat at the 3300 block of South Carson Street. Bail for the man was set at $3,500 and bail for the woman was set at $2,500.

At 1 p.m., a 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and four counts of contributing to delinquency of a minor after deputies responded to reports of five individuals shoplifting from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $2,250.

At 1:37 p.m., a 61-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a woman yelling at people in front of the Long Street Dew-Drop-Inn. Bail was set at $150.

At 2:15 p.m., Andre Franklin, 22, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of possession of a credit card without consent. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 3:18 p.m., a 43-year-old New Washoe City man was arrested on suspicion of obstruction, revoked/suspended registration and failure to yield to emergency vehicles after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Bail was set at $450.

At 6:10 p.m., a 65-year-old Silver Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop on the on ramp to Highway 580 at Arrowhead Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:30 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and a taillight violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th Street and Allouette Way. Bail was set at $1,025.

SUNDAY

At 1:38 a.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:45 a.m., Jack Yates, 34, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary warrant. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 7:10 p.m., Ricardo Whitley, 37, of San Rafael, California, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary after deputies responded to reports of two men stealing candy bars and chips from a William Street store. Bail was set at $2,500.

MONDAY

At 4:53 a.m., a Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
