The Northern Nevada Dream Center is partnering with Carson High School Culinary Arts students for the 5th annual Pie to the Rescue.

Students from the awarding winning CHS Culinary Arts program will be joining some of Northern Nevada’s best chefs in baking pies to help feed those in need this holiday season.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Northern Nevada Dream Center Reach the Hungry program with a portion going to the CHS Culinary Arts program.

Buy a delicious pie baked by the students and chefs from local restaurants including Adele’s, Bodines, Casino Fandango, Comma Coffee, Firkin & Fox, Glen Eagles Restaurant, Joannie’s Creekside Deli, Khristopher’s Cafe, LA Bakery, Villa Basque Deli, Wyndham Gardens Max Casino and Z Bistro.

Choose from three amazing flavors — pumpkin, apple and pecan — and pick your pie up just in time for Thanksgiving. Buy a pie feed a family in need and support the CHS Culinary Arts program.

Order online at http://www.pietotherescue.org or place an order with CHS students and NNDC volunteers at these holiday events:

Greenhouse Garden Center Christmas Open House on Saturday, Nov. 14.

CHS Annual Craft Fair on Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21.

The Northern Nevada Dream Center is a 100 percent volunteer driven organization bringing hope and relief to those in need in Carson City. For more information, email info@nndreamcenter.org, or call 775-443-4090.
