Carson City received a $5,000 donation to help improve the quality of life in the community from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation Inc.

The donation was given to the Community Counseling Center to support its work in the jail. The counseling center is a member of the Forensic Assessment Treatment Team, which aids in providing substance abuse evaluations, treatment and recovery groups for people in custody.

The Bank of America is investing in local communities in order to advance and create a positive change, and it wishes to provide this support to the Community Counseling Center to provide critical services and programs in the community, specifically in the jail.
