Congressman Mark Amodei will be the guest speaker at this year’s Churchill Economic Development Authority (CEDA) Appreciation Dinner on Oct. 10.

The event will have a 1940s theme with attendees encouraged to come dressed in attire reflecting that era. It will be held at the Fallon Convention Center with social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 7 p.m.

CEDA will feature the Churchill County High School culinary arts students preparing attendees’ choice of dinner of beef tenderloin or airline chicken breast. In addition to the featured speaker there will be awards presented, a silent auction, live local entertainment and many enjoyable activities.

Amodei represents Nevada’s second congressional district encompassing 11 counties in the northern half of the state, and sits on the House Appropriations Committee.

CEDA is the local authority that attracts, develops, and retains business and industry to benefit Fallon and Churchill County.
