Due to the recent rainy weather, the Central Lyon County Fire District is opening burning season effective Friday. A permit, available at the district office or at www.centrallyonfire.org, is required before burning.
Fire Chief John Gillenwater would like to remind all citizens to be fire safe and adhere to the restrictions on the permit. Property owners could be liable for any fire that escapes.
