Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of grand larceny warrant

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court. THURSDAY

At 7:03 p.m., a 48-year-old was arrested on suspicion of probation violation and a warrant charging grand larceny at Deer Run Road. The man was ordered held without bail on a felony hold from the Washoe County drug court.

At 7:34 p.m., a 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after a traffic stop at Long Street and Saliman Road. He also was charged with driving without a valid license and not having insurance. Total bail was set at $1,700.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
