Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of causing damage to jail property

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 12:57 p.m., a 63-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check at the College Parkway Nevada State Bank because a man had ran over two curbs and was parked, hunched over in the parking lot. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 1:32 p.m., Lynette Lizotte, 46, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice. Bail was set at $50,000.

At 7:25 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of damage to jail property after the man hit the ceiling and broke off a piece in the Carson City Jail. Bail was set at $2,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
