Lahontan Elementary School took part in a Patriots Day ceremony on Friday to remember and honor those who died in the 9/11 attacks 14 years ago. Kieran Kalt’s class recited the Pledge of Allegiance, while volunteers from Naval Air Station Fallon and the Veterans of Foreign Wars handed out pencils. Sailors, who have adopted the school, also volunteered their time during the morning.
