Senior Service Network of Carson City is bringing Northern Nevada’s largest health and information fair to the Carson City Community Center on Thursday, May 19.
In honor of Older Americans Month, the 18th Annual Senior Celebration is being held from 8 a.m. to noon. It includes entertainment, free blood pressure and immunization checks, games, and giveaways, including an Ageless Aviation flight for one lucky senior.
The free event gives seniors the opportunity to learn about what resources are available to them in their community and to win prizes in the process. More than 75 vendors have been at past years, all providing services and resources to seniors.
