The Bureau of Land Management in conjunction with the Bureau of Indian Affairs is performing a prescribed burn near Weber Reservoir through Wednesday, April 6.
Focus for the prescribed burn will be the irrigation ditches east of Weber Reservoir where the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Nevada Agency has operation and maintenance responsibility. All burning will take place within the boundary of the Walker River Paiute Tribe. The agencies are planning burns in the same area April 11-13.
