Capital Nevada Toastmasters is holding its weekly meeting from 12:05 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at Grandma Hattie’s Restaurant, 2811 S. Carson St., Carson City.
Speaking this week are Tammy Lancaster and Norma Santoyo. Have fun with Table Topics hosted by Robin Hopper, and you may be called upon to speak extemporaneously. You’ll hear a joke by Stacey Sept and learn the Word of the Day from Crystal Kleidosty. Watch your “ahs” and grammar because Maureen Hopkins is the Ah Counter and the Grammarian. Lunch service is offered. The meeting room is in the back (come in through the south side entrance).
