Carson City Fly Fishing Club’s 16th Annual Fly-Fishing Academy is May 6-7

The basic techniques of fly fishing will be covered in Carson Fly Fishing Club’s 16th Annual Introductory Fly-Fishing Academy at 7 p.m. May 6 and at 9 a.m. May 7 in the Ormsby Room at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, at 911 E. Musser St.

The course will cover equipment, casting, entomology, flies, and knots and leaders. The casting portion will be late afternoon at Baily Pond on May 7. The class is free, and space is limited.
