Tri NET Narcotics Task Force makes two arrests

The Tri NET Narcotics Task Force announced it made two arreests after a two-month long investigation.

Michael Brown, 45, and Mario Jesus Quevedo, 29, were arrested last Thursday. Bowman was arrested on suspicion of Level I Trafficking a Controlled Substance — Meth, Conspiracy to Violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act, Sales of a Controlled Substance — Meth and Possession of a Controlled Substance — Meth, all felonies. Quevedo has been in the Carson City jail for an unrelated child abuse case for allegedly providing methamphetamine to an underage female. He was administratively booked on Level I Trafficking a Controlled Substance — Meth, Conspiracy to Violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act and Possession of a Controlled Substance — Meth, all felonies.

The Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force is operated by the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Investigation Division in partnership with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada National Guard, Counterdrug Task Force. Tri-NET is funded in part by a Justice Assistance Grant and the DPS Office of Criminal Justice Assistance.
