Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of assault in alleged road rage incident

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 4:30 p.m., Christian Johnson, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to reports of a road rage incident near the 2600 block of Baker Street. The reporting party stated Johnson had allegedly threatened them with a firearm while driving southbound on I-580. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 6:49 p.m., a 44-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a male taking alcohol from the William Street Smith’s. Bail was set at $250.

At 11:04 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th Street and Saliman Road. Bail was set at $155.

THURSDAY

At 4:02 a.m., a 49-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of suspicious subjects near the 600 block of Stewart Street. Bail was set at $1,235.

At 3:55 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia warrant, stop sign violation and no insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa and Carmine. Bail was set at $1,650.

At 5:05 p.m., a 26-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject in the road near Roop and Washington streets. Bail was set at $300.

At 7:24 p.m., Austin Jenks, 27, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2100 block of William Street. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 7:25 p.m., Adam Carroll was arrested on suspicion of felony preventing a witness from committing a crime warrant after deputies conducted a warrant search near the 300 block of Pratt Street. Bail was set at $5,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
