A six-week comedy class for those who would like to delve into stand-up comedy or anyone who would like to overcome stage fright or become a better salesperson or speaker starts May 2.
Taught by Kat Simmons, the class meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Jethro’s, 1281 Kimmerling Road in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
Students learn how to perform five-to-seven-minute routines. Simmons said it is geared as much for the person who cannot get off the microphone as it is for those who have never been on one.
