Raffle underway in Carson City, Gardnerville to benefit Washoe Tribe

The Wa She Shu Foundation is holding a raffle for a 2008 Klamath boat. Tickets for $2 each or $20 for 15 are available in Carson City at Ed’s Dog House, 3300 Airport Road; MJ’s Sports Bar, 3679 S. Carson St.; Carson Smoke Shop, 2990 S. Curry St.; Crossroads Lounge, 300 Winnie Lane; Remedy’s, 306 E. William St.; Timbers Saloon, 124 E. Eight St.; and in Gardnerville at Wa She Shu Travel Plaza, 1001 Highway 395 and Chevron, 915 Mica Drive.

The raffle will be held at 2 p.m. May 28 at Wa She Shu Travel Plaza. The winner does not need to be present.

The Wa She Shu Foundation is a nonprofit whose mission is to improve the lives of members of the Washoe Tribe by providing business development and training, education and employment opportunities.
