Commissioners meet Thursday morning

The Churchill County Commissioners will meet Thursday at 8:15 a.m. at the commission chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.

The following items are up for consideration and/or possible action.


Appointments:

Bill 2016-B, Ordinance 7, an ordinance amending the provisions of Title 3 of the Churchill County Code regarding information technology and related matters thereto.


Old Business:

Amendments to the Cooperative Agreement for the Creation of Nevadaworks.

Ratification of County Manager’s decision to file a formal protest on Application No. 86233 to appropriate water pending at the State Engineer’s Office.


New Business:

Re-appointment of Jesse Lattin to the Churchill County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife.

Request transfer of funds to the Churchill County Road Department for first and final payment on the Various FY 2016 Road and Bridge Projects for the 4th quarter.

An Agreement for Purchase of a Conservation/Restrictive Use Easement with Darrin M. and Misty L. Alegre, Trustees of the Darrin M. and Misty L. Alegre Living Trust dated 1/23/07.

Engagement Letter with Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth for interim financing for the Churchill County Adult Jail Facility.

Appointment of David Colburn or Clint Felton to serve a four year term on the Churchill County Parks and Recreation Commission.

License Agreement with the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education on behalf of the University of Nevada, Reno for the Agricultural Experiment Station’s Newlands Research Center in Churchill County.
